In 2024, many South Korean celebrities have visited Indonesia for concerts, fan meetings, and fan conventions, and it seems that the excitement of these events will continue into 2025. One of the most anticipated events is NCT 127’s upcoming concert series, as the group has announced their fourth world tour, titled “NEO CITY – THE MOMENTUM”.
NCT 127 surprised their fans, NCTzen, by revealing a poster on their official social media (formerly X) about their world tour schedule on November 5, 2024. The group, led by Taeyong and the others, will keep their promise to return to Indonesia. Jakarta will be the first stop outside of South Korea on their tour, a testament to Indonesia’s special place in the hearts of NCT 127.
Indonesia has consistently been a regular stop for NCT 127, as the group has held various events every year. The group previously held their third tour in January 2024 and a fan sign event in September 2024 in Jakarta.
Along with the announcement of the ‘NEO CITY – THE MOMENTUM’ concert, NCT 127 also shared their tour schedule for 14 major cities. The tour will kick off with a two-day concert at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on January 18-19, 2025. After that, NCT 127 will head to Jakarta on February 15 and 16, 2025. The world tour will continue until the end of April 2025, with stops in Bangkok, Duluth, Newark, Toronto, Rosemont, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Osaka, Taipei, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and concluding in Macau.

This concert will be a bit different from previous ones because two of the members will be absent. As many fans know, leader Taeyong has been serving in the South Korean Navy since April 2024, and Jaehyun recently began his military service with the Army on November 4, 2024. Therefore, “NEO CITY – THE MOMENTUM” will be NCT 127’s first concert with a six-member lineup, consisting of Johnny, Yuta, Doyoung, Jungwoo, Mark, and Haechan.
