Jakarta, March 10, 2025 — In response to the overwhelming enthusiasm from Indonesian audiences after the closed screening of the animated film “JUMBO,” Visinema Studios is holding a special screening in 20 cities across Indonesia on March 15, 2025. Tickets for the screening of the animated film “JUMBO” will be available for purchase starting today, March 10, 2025.
The 20 cities that will host the special screening of the animated film “JUMBO” include Jakarta (Blok M XXI), Bogor (Cibinong City XXI), Depok (CGV Dmall), Tangerang (Tangcity XXI), Bekasi (KCM Jati Asih), Bandung (CGV BEC Mall), Cirebon (CSB XXI), Yogyakarta (Empire XXI), Semarang (Cinepolis Java Supermall), Solo (Solo Square XXI), Surabaya (Tunjungan 3 XXI), Malang (Cinepolis Malang Town Square), Medan (Cinepolis Plaza Medan Fair), Pekanbaru (Cinepolis Living World Pekanbaru), Lampung (Malkartini XXI), Padang (CGV Raya Padang), Samarinda (CGV Plaza Mulia), Denpasar (Level 21 XXI), Makassar (Nipah XXI), and Ambon (Ambon City Center XXI). The special screening schedule for the animated film “JUMBO” in all cities will be at the second showtime of each theater, at 15:00. Tickets can be purchased online through the TIX ID, M-Tix, CGV, Cinepolis, and KCM apps.
The animated film “JUMBO” has also passed the censorship process by the Film Censorship Board (LSF) with an All Ages (SU) classification. Therefore, this film is safe to watch with the whole family. The animated film “JUMBO” is directed by Ryan Adriandhy, and produced by Anggia Kharisma and Novia Puspa Sari. The voice cast includes Prince Poetiray, Quinn Salman, Yusuf Ozkan, Ariel NOAH, Ratna Riantiarno, Ariyo Wahab, Bunga Citra Lestari, Angga Yunanda, M. Adhiyat, Graciella Abigail, and Cinta Laura Kiehl.
The animated film “JUMBO” follows the story of Don, who often feels underestimated by his friends. To prove he is more than just a big-bodied child who never wins at anything, Don decides to participate in a talent show by performing a stage play inspired by a storybook left behind by his parents. However, everything changes when a bully steals the book, and Don meets a child from another world who asks for his help to reunite with their parents.
