PLAVE’s concert, “Dash: Quantum Leap in Jakarta,” left fans with an unforgettable experience. Held for a full three hours at Beach City International Stadium, Jakarta, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, the show offered more than just music. As a virtual K-pop group, PLAVE delivered a unique blend of technology, music, and heartfelt moments.
Since it was their first-ever performance in Indonesia, the crowd was filled with amazement. Throughout the concert, fans could be heard saying things like, “That’s so cool!” or “This is amazing!” Let’s take a look at some of the most special and unusual moments from this one-of-a-kind event.
Heartwarming Interactions
The concert opened with a cinematic scene of a spaceship landing on Earth—carrying the five members of PLAVE: Nam Yejun, Han Noah, Chae Bamby, Do Eunho, and Yu Hamin. Even though the members are virtual, their interactions with the audience felt surprisingly real.
They spoke directly in Indonesian, praised fans who came in cosplay, and even played interactive games like a “find the camera” challenge, with help from their fans, called Plli.
One of the most touching moments came at the very end, when each member shared personal letters to the fans, displayed on the big screen. One line from Hamin’s letter especially stood out:“How was today’s concert? Was it a success? If you’re happy today, I hope you can rest with your legs stretched out.”
They also repeatedly reminded fans to get home safely—a small but genuine gesture that really showed how much they care.
Post-Dance Break Stretching with the Fans
After an intense performance of “Dash”, complete with a taekwondo-inspired dance break, the members slumped down on the stage, clearly exhausted.
That’s when Hamin stepped forward and suddenly led the crowd in a group stretching session. From neck rolls to arm stretches—and finally ending with a heart pose above their heads—it was a fun and unexpected moment that brought everyone closer.
Strong Vocals, High-Energy Choreography
Don’t let the “virtual” label fool you. PLAVE’s vocals were impressively stable and powerful throughout the concert, even during intense choreography.
Songs like “Way 4 Luv”, “Wait For You”, and “Virtual Idol” were performed with full energy. Some tracks were even accompanied by a live band, adding a rich and dynamic layer to the performance.
They also treated fans to special concert versions of tracks like “The 6th Summer”, “Merry Pllistmas”, and “Pixel World”, showcasing their creativity and attention to detail.
Limitless Visuals: PLAVE’s Virtual World
As a virtual K-pop group, PLAVE’s visual presentation has virtually no limits. They changed outfits in an instant, and the stage transformed seamlessly into scenes of rain, beaches, or post-apocalyptic ruins—all in real time.
What’s important to note is that PLAVE’s members are not AI. They are real humans performing in motion capture suits, which is why their movements and expressions feel so lifelike.
On top of that, fans were treated to live pyrotechnics, falling gold confetti, and other immersive effects that elevated the whole experience.
Funny & Unexpected Moments
There were a few light-hearted mishaps too! While performing “Pink Venom,” Bamby accidentally bumped into Noah, and then Noah and Eunho collided a few seconds later—causing laughter from the audience.
At one point, a glitch appeared on the main screen, and the members quickly moved to the side of the stage so the fans could still enjoy the visuals clearly. Little gestures like this show their professionalism and genuine care for the fans’ experience.
Special Surprises & Local Song Tribute
One of the biggest surprises of the night was when PLAVE performed “Sialan” by Adrian Khalif—sung in Bahasa Indonesia! It was a beautiful tribute to their Indonesian fans.
During a segment called “No Develop No PLAVE,” member Chae Bamby shared that they had prepared many surprises just for this tour stop.“This time, we’ve included a lot of special gifts we’ve developed for this concert,” he said. Then, in the blink of an eye, the members magically switched outfits into sleek black suits—drawing cheers from the crowd.
Music Beyond Language
PLAVE’s concert in Jakarta is part of the 2025 PLAVE Asia Tour – Dash: Quantum Leap. One thing that sets this group apart is how, at each stop on their tour, they perform a local song as a sign of respect for the culture.
The group’s youngest member, Hamin, said:“We’re really happy that we can unite through music, beyond language. The Plli here feel the same, right?”
To which the entire audience roared back, “De!” (Yes, in Korean)—a heartwarming and unforgettable moment.
So, How Was It? Totally Epic, Right?
PLAVE’s concert in Jakarta wasn’t just a music show—it was a fully immersive, emotional, and visual journey. From heartfelt letters, goofy stage moments, powerful performances, to surprise local tributes—it had everything.
If you missed it, we hope PLAVE returns to Indonesia soon. And for those who were there… you already know:
