Jakarta, 3 February 2025 — Despite not having aired its premiere episode, the drama Tiba-Tiba Brondong has already drawn public attention.
Scheduled to premiere on 13 February 2026, the drama brings together Tatjana Saphira and Fadi Alaydrus as its lead actors, exploring an age-gap relationship—a topic that has recently gained traction on social media.
Even before its release, the drama’s early appeal comes from the natural chemistry between the two leads, as seen in posts shared by the Instagram account @awreceh.id. One netizen, @pageantxxx, commented, “How many years apart are they? Tatjana is older, right?”
Another netizen, @mraihaxxx, also chimed in, “Is it the season now for younger men and older women?”
In Tiba-Tiba Brondong, Tatjana Saphira portrays Bella, an adult woman who appears independent and composed. She represents an urban woman who seems well-established on the surface, yet harbors doubts about her future.
Tatjana herself views Bella as a character still in the process of growth. “I want Bella to be more open and brave enough to open her heart. Don’t be too pessimistic about life’s opportunities, because things we never imagined could turn out to be the best for us,” she said during the production process. Their conversation can also be viewed on Viu Indonesia’s YouTube content.
On the other hand, Fadi Alaydrus presents a portrayal of a young man far removed from the stereotypical ‘brondong’ who pretends to be mature. His character, Langit, is someone who is still growing and searching for his footing.
Fadi summed up his character simply: “Keep trying, Langit. You will win her,” said during the same moment. A short line that reflects Langit’s journey as an individual, not merely as a partner in a relationship.
The meeting of two characters who are both still figuring themselves out becomes the core appeal of Tiba-Tiba Brondong.
The series will soon premiere on Viu and MAXStream, and the public already seems ready to follow Bella and Langit’s journey from the very beginning.
