Prambanan Jazz Festival 2026 Is Almost Here: Full Lineup, Ticket Prices, and Everything You Need to Know

One of Indonesia’s most beloved music festivals is ready to return for another unforgettable weekend. Prambanan Jazz Festival 2026 will take place from July 3–5, 2026, at the iconic Prambanan Temple Complex in Yogyakarta, marking the festival’s 12th edition.

This year’s festival promises an exciting blend of jazz, pop, indie, rock, and international acts under the theme “Celebrate the Joy.” With a diverse lineup featuring global stars alongside some of Indonesia’s biggest names, Prambanan Jazz continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Southeast Asia’s premier music festivals.

International Headliners Take Center Stage

Leading this year’s lineup are several internationally acclaimed artists, including Danish pop-rock legends Michael Learns to Rock, Indonesian singer-songwriter NIKI, Korean rock band The Rose, K-rock group Xdinary Heroes, world-renowned jazz pianist Joey Alexander, and British singer-songwriter Henry Moodie.

Each festival day offers a unique musical experience, bringing together artists from different genres and generations against the breathtaking backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Prambanan Temple.

A Celebration of Jazz and Musical Collaboration

Staying true to its roots, Prambanan Jazz 2026 places a stronger emphasis on jazz and alternative music while introducing fresh collaborative performances through its special “Playing Jazz” sessions.

These unique performances will see artists known for surf rock, indie rock, hip-hop, and contemporary pop reinterpret their music through jazz-inspired arrangements. Acts such as The Panturas, Perunggu, Salma Salsabil, and Jogja Hiphop Foundation are among those presenting these exclusive collaborative sets.

Day 1: Michael Learns to Rock and Xdinary Heroes Open the Festival

The festival kicks off on Friday, July 3, with performances by Michael Learns to Rock and Xdinary Heroes as the day’s headline acts.

The opening day also showcases an impressive mix of Indonesian talent across multiple genres, including jazz trio Trisum, Barasuara, Ali, Lomba Sihir, Sal Priadi, Mocca, IDGITAF, Rony Parulian, and Wijaya 80.

Special “Playing Jazz” performances from The Panturas, Perunggu, and Salma Salsabil promise to deliver fresh interpretations that festivalgoers won’t want to miss.

Other performers include Littlefingers, Smarai, Moctar, Kini & Nanti, and a collaborative Wayang Bocor performance featuring Ki Catur Kuncoro and Ari Wvlv.

Day 2: NIKI and Joey Alexander Lead a Cross-Generational Lineup

Saturday, July 4, brings one of the festival’s most anticipated pairings as global Indonesian star NIKI shares top billing with Grammy-nominated jazz pianist Joey Alexander.

The second day blends legendary Indonesian musicians with today’s leading performers, featuring Karimata, Margie Segers, Kahitna, Yovie & Nuno, GIGI, Letto, and Fryda Lucyana.

Additional performances from Kunto Aji, White Shoes & The Couples Company, Modulus, Societeit de Harmonie, Jordan Susanto, GME, Jazz Mben Senen, and Dinda Ghania ensure a musically diverse experience throughout the day.

The popular Wayang Bocor collaboration also returns with Ki Catur Kuncoro, Ari Wvlv, and choreographer Eko Supriyanto.

Day 3: The Rose, Henry Moodie, and Indonesian Icons Close the Festival

The final day on Sunday, July 5, promises an emotional and energetic finale led by Korean band The Rose and British singer-songwriter Henry Moodie.

Joining them are some of Indonesia’s most celebrated artists, including Tulus, Maliq & D’Essentials, KLa Project, Fariz RM, Java Jive, and Ari Lasso.

Festival audiences can also enjoy performances from BASS3 featuring Sruti Respati, Jikustik, Nonaria, White (Jazz) Chorus, Jo Soegono, I’m Jazz a Kids All Stars, and Jazz Kotabaru.

Adding a theatrical touch to the closing day, Rio Febrian will present a special Broadway Night performance, while Jogja Hiphop Foundation will deliver a unique jazz-infused set as part of the festival’s “Playing Jazz” series.

The festival’s signature Wayang Bocor collaboration returns once again, this time featuring Ki Catur Kuncoro, Ari Wvlv, and renowned traditional performer Didik Nini Thowok.
