Mie Sedaap introduces its new family member, Ahn Hyo Seop, as the brand ambassador for the instant noodle brand. The star of the drama “Business Proposal” is considered a perfect match for Mie Sedaap’s target audience, which is Gen Z.
“Ahn Hyo Seop represents our target audience, which is young Gen-Z, full of passion for chasing their dreams, and certainly in their prime,” said Jimmy, Senior Brand Manager of Mie Sedaap, as quoted in the press release.
Furthermore, Ahn Hyo Seop has a massive fan community in Indonesia, the largest in Asia, with 25.3% of his fanbase aged between 18 and 24. With this fact, Jimmy added that Mie Sedaap is committed to partnering with Ahn Hyo Seop as a brand ambassador to help expand its reach to young audiences. As a brand ambassador, the actor, born in 1995, brings a campaign titled “Don’t Stop Mie Now” from Mie Sedaap.
Not stopping there, Mie Sedaap also innovates in its creative process by collaborating with local illustrator WD Willy to create animations and visuals appealing to Gen Z.
“Because visual design creativity is very appealing to Gen Z, Mie Sedaap collaborated with Indonesian illustrator WD Willy and Ahn Hyo Seop to present an exploration of flavors in ‘The World of Noodle’ as illustrated by WD Willy,” said Jimmy.
