The moment that Shawol (SHINee fandom) had been eagerly waiting for finally arrived: Key SHINee! The SM Entertainment artist was one of the main stars at the grand celebration of Transmedia’s 23rd Anniversary, held at Istora Senayan on Saturday (14/12/2024).
Key kicked off his performance with Pleasure Shop, his latest release, which he performed for the first time in Indonesia. It was such a special moment! The artist, whose real name is Kim Kibum, gave an incredibly energetic performance.
“Indonesia, are you ready?” Key greeted the audience from the stage.
After Pleasure Shop, he continued with a more laid-back track, Overthinking. Following that, Rian Ibram had a brief chat with the K-Pop star.
“Hello, this is Key from SHINee. It’s been a while. I missed you all,” said Key, starting the conversation.
Key expressed how happy he was to be part of Transmedia’s Anniversary celebration, especially since this event allowed him to meet his Indonesian fans at the end of the year.
“I was worried if I’d be able to meet my fans before the year ended. But with this anniversary celebration, I’m able to meet you all, and I’m so happy. It feels amazing to be able to perform these songs,” said Key.
Key also shared his dream vacation spots in Indonesia. When asked by host Rian Ibram about his ideal tourist destinations in the country, Key revealed that Yogyakarta and Raja Ampat were on his wish list.
“If I could vacation in Indonesia, where would I go besides Jakarta and Bali?” asked Rian Ibram.
“Yogyakarta. I’ve never been to Yogyakarta, so I want to go there… and Raja Ampat,” replied Key.
Key was also asked what he liked most about Shawol in Indonesia, and he answered everything. He said he loved all aspects of Shawol in Indonesia.
“Everything about them. Just look at them. They’re so enthusiastic, so energetic. I don’t come here every year, but whenever I do, Shawol’s response is always as lively as this. This is what makes me admire Indonesia,” he concluded.
Key SHINee continued his performance at Transmedia 23rd Anniversary with two of his solo singles, Good & Great and Gasoline.
After a series of performances by Indonesian musicians, Key returned to the stage, greeted by his enthusiastic fans, Shawol.
The idol, whose full name is Kim Kibum, then performed Good & Great. This song is the title track of his second solo EP.
The performance received an enthusiastic response from the fans, who once again raised their lightsticks while chanting his name.
Key’s energy remained strong as he continued with his third song, which kept the atmosphere vibrant and infectious for the audience.
Key SHINee then proceeded to perform his second song, Gasoline. This hit single, released in 2022, marked the conclusion of his performance on the first day of Transmedia’s 23rd Anniversary.
He dedicated this song as the final number on the Indoor Stage, before saying his farewells to the audience after the performance.
“Thank you, Indonesia! Happy New Year!” said Key.
Transmedia celebrated its 23rd Anniversary with a grand event at Istora Senayan on December 14-15, 2024. The event featured a lineup of local and international artists.
On the first day, December 14, 2024, the Indoor Stage, which opened its gates at 5:30 PM WIB, was filled with performances by SHINee’s KEY, Kris Dayanti, BCL, Isyana Sarasvati, Raisa, Ari Lasso, Ayu Ting Ting, Wali, and Adikara.
For the second day, December 15, 2024, the event featured performances by SHINee’s MINHO, Rossa, Tiara Andini, Lyodra, Bernadya, Bilal Indrajaya, Adrian Khalif, Rizky Febian, Nassar, Dewi Perssik, Setia Band & Restu, and The Lucky Laki.
