After the success of the RIIZE On Richeese Land Meet and Greet in Jakarta, Nabati is back with another Meet and Greet event, this time featuring aespa, called Meet & Greet aespa on Richoco Land in Jakarta. The popular K-pop group under SM Entertainment, aespa, held the event on Saturday (November 9, 2024).
The event, held at Hall 1 of ICE BSD City, South Tangerang, was part of the collaboration between Nabati and aespa, where aespa serves as the brand ambassador for Nabati’s Richoco products. The event was also designed to provide a special experience for K-pop fans, especially MY, the name for aespa’s loyal fans in Indonesia.
“In line with our strategy at the beginning of the year, we targeted young consumers who we wanted to win over and bring joy through Nabati. And from there, we saw their interest. And the most popular group is K-pop,” said Rudy Winarto Urip Wibowo, Deputy Chief Commercial Officer of Nabati.
“We see aespa shares the same vision as Nabati. aespa is very unique, and their ambiance is very futuristic. It resonates with Gen Z and Gen Alpha, who are digital natives. Plus, the brand is global,” he added.
The aespa members, who were also present at the press conference, expressed how happy they were to return to Jakarta. They missed the energy from MY Indonesia.
“What we remember from MY Indonesia is the incredible energy. We’re happy to have fun with you all,” said Winter.
As is well known, aespa is a K-pop group formed by SM Entertainment, debuting in 2020. The group consists of four members: Karina, Winter, Ningning, and Giselle. aespa is famous for its unique concept, blending the real world with the virtual world through the use of digital avatars called “ae.” Each member of the group has their own “ae” representing them in the virtual world, making aespa known as a K-pop group with a metaverse concept.
After the success of “Supernova” and “Armageddon,” they are currently busy promoting their latest mini album and single, Whiplash.
