Aside from Wonpil, Now It’s Young K’s Turn to Change the Lyrics from “Gwenchana” to “Rapopo” in “Healer” at DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR in Jakarta.

DAY6 has completed their final concert in Indonesia. Held at Beach City International Stadium, Ancol, North Jakarta, the event took place on Sunday (20/10/2024).

This concert, promoted by Mecimapro, was part of their tour at Beach City International Stadium, Jakarta, on October 19-20, 2024.

Previously, Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon also held concerts in Bali and Surabaya. According to the setlist, the DAY6 concert opened with the first song, “Best Day,” followed by “Better Better” and “Healer.”

One of the highlights fans anticipated was Wonpil’s gimmick during “Healer.” In the previous concert, or DAY6’s first day performance, Wonpil changed the word “gwenchana” in the lyrics of “Healer” to “Rapopo.” Now, after Wonpil, it was Young K’s turn to follow in the keyboardist’s footsteps. In one of the verses, the musician, also known as Brian, sang, “rapopo, rapopo.”

Immediately, DAY6 fans, affectionately called My Day, shouted in surprise, while Young K smiled with satisfaction.

This change was done by Young K and Wonpil as they sang the chorus alternately. The word “Rapopo” means “it’s okay” in Javanese, which is equivalent to “gwenchana.”

It turns out that Young K and Wonpil learned the word “Rapopo” during DAY6’s concert in Surabaya, where My Day created a fan project video that included “Healer,” replacing “gwenchana” with “rapopo.”

The phrase “rapopo” was often heard during DAY6’s performances in Jakarta. The show continued with “Time of Our Life.” My Day in the standing area caught Wonpil’s attention as they formed a circle and jumped around.

“You’re spinning around like this. Is everyone ready today? Where’s the sound?” said Wonpil.

Seeing My Day’s enthusiasm, Young K expressed his happiness and promised to keep energizing the fans until the concert ended. “Is everyone ready to have fun? The energy we’re receiving is amazing. So the love, happiness, and energy that we feel, we want you to feel it too. We will return it to you,” said the DAY6 bassist.

For this Forever Young concert, DAY6 had also prepared songs to help fans understand them better. “For this concert, we incorporated many elements from DAY6. I arranged the setlist based on the emotions we felt, which led to today’s setlist,” Wonpil explained.

“With this concert, we want to bring energy and memories for you to take home,” he added.

The performance continued with DAY6’s ballads, including “You Were Beautiful,” “Letting Go,” and “Congratulations.” The member’s selected setlist also featured songs categorized under “Mental Health,” which addressed struggles in life, including “Monster,” “Zombie,” “Melt Down,” and “Happy.”

The concert concluded with “Welcome to the Show.” The members were also surprised with a fan project video from My Day, which moved Young K and Wonpil to tears.

In the end, the members promised to return to Jakarta.
