Lucas, a former member of NCT and Way V, held a fancon titled “Fiat Lux” at Kota Kasbalanka Hall, South Jakarta, on Saturday, 11 May, 2024.
Fancon, which was promoted by Nusantara Indah Ceria Entertainment, aka NICE, started at 15.00 WIB and took place lively, and here is a recap of the excitement of todaystageid coverage, especially for you guys.
Dip It Low made fans hysterical
The Hong Kong-born soloist started his fancon by singing the song “Dip It Low”. Lucas’ appearance, wearing cool and energetic black, made fans in one hall scream enthusiastically.
After starting the rumble with “Dip It Low”, Lucas greeted fans in Indonesian. “Yo What’s up Indonesia,” Lucas shouted in Indonesian.
Lucas then expressed his happiness to meet his fans. “How are you? Nice to meet you guys,” Lucas continued.
The 25-year-old singer said this fancon was an extraordinary moment for him. Because fans are the source of his strength. He asked fans to have fun with him. “Yes, it’s amazing that my heart is repeating itself. This (fans) is my source of strength. So let’s have fun together,” said Lucas.
The approximately two-hour fancon event was divided into several sessions. The opening session began with Lucas’ energetic performance of “Dip It Low”, followed by a chat session hosted by the MC.
Love Indonesian food
When asked about his favorite food in Indonesia, Lucas enthusiastically replied, “piscok”. Despite mispronouncing the name, fans eventually managed to guess what Lucas was referring to.
“Yes, I like piscok, the one with the banana,” he said, explaining the snack of banana and chocolate wrapped in spring roll skin and deep-fried. Aside from piscok, he also said that one of the Indonesian dishes he remembers most was green chili fried chicken when he stopped by a restaurant in Jakarta.
“Yesterday I went to a restaurant and ate, like, fried chicken, and there was green chili sauce; it was really good,” he said.
Lucas’s answers sound unique because piscok and green chili chicken are not iconic foods that are usually called foreigners’ favorite foods, such as fried rice or satay.
Then, on May 4, 2024, Lucas’ official YouTube channel aired a video titled “Rendang & Nasi Goreng of INDONESIA | Chef LUCAS“. As the name suggests, the video featured the “Renegade” singer cooking two Indonesian specialties, rendang and fried rice.
The MC, who led the event, briefly mentioned this. “Rendang and fried rice; you’ve cooked them before, right?” asked the MC, to which Lucas agreed. However, he expressed regret that, when he tried to cook them, he used ingredients and methods that were not so authentic.
“So, at that time, I tried to make rendang and fried rice, but it wasn’t very authentic, which is a shame,” he said. Even so, the MC praised him for his cooking skills by saying, “You did well,” several times. Hearing this, Lucas couldn’t hide his smile and immediately thanked him.
Recounting memories through photos
Besides performing songs and talking about food, he also shared his memories through photos. He showed some photos taken before the FIAT LUX Fancon. Lucas showed three photos with different stories and backgrounds.
In the first photo, Lucas is wearing a suit for the “Renegade” photo shoot. Then, the other two photos show Lucas’ relaxed daily life.
He also shared that during the shooting session for these three photos, he was enjoying the moment. “I felt very nervous while doing this photoshoot and fancon,” Lucas said at the FIAT LUX Fancon on Saturday (11/05).
Lucas also tempted LUMIs to go eat dim sum in Hong Kong. The story of these three photos of Lucas suddenly drew screams from the LUMIs.
Lucas plays Indonesian games
Like other Korean idol and actor fancons, Lucas also had a games segment on stage. In addition, Lucas also interacted and played with fans in the games segment!
Lucas was given the challenge to complete 3 games in a row in only 100 seconds. He had to walk with marbles on a spoon in his mouth, successfully play lato-lato for 10 strokes, and put a ping-pong ball into a paper cylinder.
Funnily enough, Lucas deliberately gave up playing the games! Because he wanted to interact with the fans.
This moment also evoked a fun atmosphere, as there was a lot of interaction with the fans. There was also a moment when the fans were lit up to perform a dance for Lucas. Lucas gave a thumbs up to the fans for dancing so well.

Singing ballad songs
Lucas returned to the stage wearing a white sleeveless t-shirt and sang a ballad called Every Day Every Moment by Paul Kim. While singing the song, Lucas’ eyes glazed over, and he almost shed a tear. His smile radiated, and there was emotion in his heart when he received support from fans.
Lucas also said that he almost wanted to cry, but he chose to keep showing his bright smile to the fans.
After that, Lucas returned with the show me your lux challenge, where the fans took part in the game by choosing the color blue or red, and closed with the lucas dance challenge with Baby Monster’s shees and TWS’s plot twist and took pictures with fans on stage.

At the end of the show, Lucas performed the super-energetic Renegade. Like a stage adorned with flames, his enthusiasm while singing every lyric of Renegade was burning. His emotional expressions also left fans in awe.
