Bang Yedam finally met Indonesian BY:D in his first fan meeting in Jakarta ‘Be Your D’ on August 3, 2024, at Jakarta International Velodrome, promoted by Kolam Ikan Creative. Bang Yedam greeted his fans, “Good evening, how are you?” in very fluent Indonesian. He also asked BY:D, “Mana suaranya???” and then BY:D became so loud. “Indonesian BY:D is the best” said Bang Yedam.
The MC asked Bang Yedam about how he felt at his first fan meeting in Jakarta. “I’m so happy and nervous to meet Indonesian BY:D”, he said. Bang Yedam also told us the reason he chose the songs Miss You and Only One as the opening is because he wanted to bring a good feeling to the fans, so he prepared those songs.
Bang Yedam also read some messages that BY:D had written on the post-it notes. Then he sang a verse of the song Peaches by Justin Bieber and Gejolak Asmara, a dangdut song he once sang. Bang Yedam also sang a cover of Hate That I Love You by New West and “Magnetic” by ILLIT while playing the piano.
Bang Yedam asked who fans came the furthest, and he thanked all the fans for coming for him. He also learned some trend words in Indonesia. “Menyala abangku” “Tipis tipis” and he asked if he was good at it.
Then Bang Yedam played some games with lucky BY:D at the stage and gave a signed Polaroid as a gift.
