Bryan Adams Successfully Holds Energetic and Surprise-Filled Concert in Jakarta

Jakarta once again became the stage for the return of one of the world’s music legends. Bryan Adams successfully held his concert at Beach City International Stadium (BCIS) Ancol, Jakarta, on Tuesday night, February 3, 2026. Since the afternoon, thousands of fans from different generations had filled the venue, showing strong enthusiasm for the long-awaited return of the Canadian musician.

The concert opened in an unexpected way. Instead of appearing directly on the main stage, Bryan Adams surprised the audience by showing up on a small stage located close to the crowd. His sudden appearance was met with loud cheers before he kicked off the show with the iconic song “Can’t Stop This Thing We Started.” The atmosphere instantly exploded and felt more intimate.

After the unique opening, Bryan Adams moved to the main stage to continue the performance. From start to finish, he delivered a high-energy show, matched by the unwavering enthusiasm of the audience. Song after song was performed with passion, creating a concert atmosphere that was both lively and emotional.

Between songs, Bryan Adams took a moment to greet his Indonesian fans and expressed his happiness at being able to return to Jakarta. “I’m happy to be back here,” he said, earning a warm round of applause from the crowd.

One of the most eye-catching moments of the night came during the performance of “Roll with the Punches.” A giant silver boxing-glove-shaped balloon bearing the song’s title was suddenly released above the audience. The balloon floated overhead throughout the song, becoming a unique visual surprise that drew awe and cheers from concertgoers.

The concert was part of the Roll with the Punches Tour 2026, a world tour supporting Bryan Adams’ latest album released in 2025. The album features blues- and rock-infused tracks that explore themes of resilience, long journeys, and the ability to endure life’s challenges—perfectly reflecting the meaning behind its title.

The show became even more special with the presence of two Indonesian musicians as opening acts. Rony Parulian performed first, delivering his hit songs such as “Tak Ada yang Sepertimu.” He was followed by Ari Lasso, who continued to warm up the crowd with emotional performances of popular tracks including “Cinta Terakhir” and “Cintakan Membawamu Kembali.”

With consistent energy, unexpected surprises, and warm interaction with the audience, Bryan Adams’ Jakarta concert became a memorable musical experience that will not soon be forgotten.
