Handsome South Korean actor Byeon Woo Seok has just visited Indonesia to greet his fans. The event titled 2024 Byeon Woo Seok Asia Fanmeeting Tour “Summer Letter” was promoted by Three Angles Production.
The event started at 7:30 p.m. at Kasablanka Hall. Before starting the fan meeting, the actor Ryu Sunjae in Lovely Runner attended the press conference.
In the press conference, Byeon Woo Seok claimed to like Indonesian food.
“Fried noodles; until now, I kept eating fried noodles. I like spicy too, ohh fried noodles can be spicy too, so good,” said Kim Hye Yoon’s co-star at Raffles Hotel, Jakarta, on Friday, June 28, 2024.
Byeon Woo Seok also expressed his desire to go sightseeing around the city of Jakarta. Specifically, the actor claimed he wanted to see the buildings in the kota tua, which have a lot of history.
The actor said, “If I want to go to Jakarta again, I want to stop by the Kota Tua and see buildings that have history, stop by the market, and be free to just have fun.”
The actor Ryu Sunjae in the drama Lovely Runner also felt sad because he could not meet with all of Woo Che Tong Indonesia. Woo Che Tong itself is the name of his fandom. Even so, the actor promised to come back again.
“Actually, I want to meet Indonesia; it’s quite far away; it’s a shame I can’t meet all the fans. And I want to meet them, but I’m sure that in the future, I want to come back to Indonesia,” he said.
“I’m really happy to have the opportunity to come to Indonesia and meet Indonesian fans. Thank you for all the support. If there’s another chance, we can hold another fan meet and meet and have fun together,” he said. As an actor, the man, born in October 1991, also admits that he likes watching movies or dramas.
“I used to really like the romantic comedy genre. And Korea also has a lot of romantic comedy dramas, and they are really good,” he continued. Despite having successfully become a much-discussed actor, Byeon Woo Seok himself admits that he hasn’t thought too much about the future.
He is determined to focus on living what is happening and performing at his best.
“So far, I’m not the type of person who looks very far until 10 years. So I will do what is right now; I will work hard to get something good,” said the actor who played Ryu Shi Oh in Strong Girl Nam-soon. “I used to want to try fantasy dramas or something else. But after playing Sunjae, I felt changed. I really relate to this role; it’s up to me what role I want to play, but if I relate, then I will like the role,” he said when asked about the character he wanted to play.
At the end of the press conference, Byeon Woo Seok revealed what fans meant to him. “All this time I’ve been doing fanmeets, and I feel like there are people who like me. I’m just working continuously, and I didn’t expect the love to be reciprocated from the fans.”
“Fanmeeting is the most memorable because I get to meet the fans directly. Moreover, the distance is not very far—only 7 hours. The most memorable thing is being able to meet the fans facee-toface,” he concluded.
The press conference was opened with the distribution of flowers to fellow journalists by Byeon Woo Seok, as well as by the famous MC Indra Herlambang and the translator.
