After almost 4 years of anticipation since their debut in 2020, BAE173 finally greeted Indonesian fans through a fancon titled “POLARIS”. The event, which was promoted by Dyandra Global Edutainment, took place at Sarbini Hall, Jakarta, on Saturday, June 1, 2024.

Opened with a stunning stage set, lighting, and LED treatment
The Polaris fancon event, as usual, opened with singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya. After finishing, the matching lights and leds began to light up, and there were clusters of sparkling stars that amazed the audience. After that, the sweet members’ VCRS appeared, making the audience scream even louder.
Performing the song “Fly” and the handsome prince appeared wearing a white shirt. After the VCRS, all 7 BAE173 members wore white shirts and blazers; they looked energetic like princes, and BAE173 opened their fan concert with a stunning performance of “Fly” and “Criminal”.
Greeting fans in Indonesian, Yoojun is the most fluent
After performing the opening song, the members also greeted ELSE Indonesia and introduced themselves. Interestingly, BAE173 members also prepared introductions in Indonesian.
Hangyul admitted that they were very happy because they could finally come to Indonesia. BAE173 also shared their experience when they first came to Indonesia. In the segment, BAE173 shared their preparations for the fancon in Jakarta and recommended songs for the ELSEs. The BAE173 fan concert continued with BAE173’s song performance and a talk session.
BAE173 also performed a cover dance of Riize’s Siren and Taemin’s Guilty as a surprise. As you can see, Hangyul and the boys also performed stunning choreography in order to entertain ELSE. In every performance, BAE173 members performed stunning choreography; each performance amazed the audience.
Members expressed their pride and appreciation for ELSE Indonesia
Each member also expressed their impressions of their first concert in Jakarta. One of the members, Junseo, admitted that he was actually not very fit, but he tried to cover it up and show his best for the fans.
“Actually, I’m not feeling well, but I want to show the fans,” Junseo said.
Seeing the support given by the fans, Junseo also admitted that he was eager to get back to health.
“But I really have to recover after seeing the support of the fans,” he said. Meanwhile, BAE173 leader Hangyul admitted that he had promised fans a few years ago that he would come to Jakarta.
This time, he managed to greet fans in Indonesia and give them good memories. “From a long time ago, I promised to come from several years ago,” said Hangyul. “This time I can come to show my best and to give you beautiful memories,” he continued.
“Thank you for giving us good memories,” Hangyul said again to ELSE. “I will force the company to come back anyway,” said one member. “Next time, we’ll come with Muzin,” he added.
Closing with an encore and a hi-bye song
BAE173’s “POLARIS” fancon that made it hard to move on was closed with a cool performance of the members performing three encore songs, including one, “Crush on You. And all the members did a hi-bye season with the audience.
