WayV returned to greet fans when they performed on the second day of the Allo Bank Festival 2024 at Istora Senayan Jakarta on Saturday (6/22). The Chinese boy group interacted with fans after performing two songs titled On My Youth and Poppin’ Love.
Ten opened the chat by asking about the fans’ news and condition. He also asked if the fan, who is familiarly called WayZenni, missed WayV.
“How are you? We’re WayV! Do you miss WayV? Ready to have fun tonight?” Ten said it in English, which was greeted by boisterous fans.
Other members then also greeted fans. Ten, Xiaojun, Hendery, Yangyang, and Kun took turns introducing themselves, while WinWin was unable to attend.
Hendery also asked if the fans were happy with tonight’s event. WayZenni replied to the question with an excited shout.
Then, Yangyang also expressed his happiness at being able to return to greet fans in Indonesia. He then promised to perform again in the next segment.
“Everyone, we’re back! Of course, there will be songs that we bring back. So, please stay tuned!” Yangyang said.
WayV was challenged to play a game on the sidelines of the second day of the Allo Bank Festival 2024 at the Allo Stage Istora Senayan Jakarta on Saturday (6/22).
In the game, Ten, Yangyang, Hendery, Xiaojun, and Kun had to compete to complete three challenges from Indra Herlambang as the host.
The first challenge for WayV is a hip-shake battle. The five members of the Chinese boy group must shake their hips up to 50 times.
After that, WayV was challenged to play push the mat. They had to sit on the mat and push it to the finish line.
The third challenge was to put the ball into the basket with their feet. For this game, members had to put three balls in.
The five members looked excited when they started the game. Xiaojun took the lead after finishing the first challenge first.
The other four members caught up after shaking their hips 50 times. However, Xiaojun remained in the lead and managed to complete the other two challenges the fastest.
The game ended with three confident winners: Xiaojun, Ten, and Kun. The champions received special Jakarta-themed gifts.
Xiaojun got a batik fan, Ten got a red suit, and Kun got a red miniature ondel-ondel.
The three winners also sent messages after winning. Xiaojun and Ten were happy and honored to receive beautiful special prizes.
Kun said he was confused because he had to bring the miniature ondel-ondel to his home.
“It’s beautiful, and the weather is really hot right now, so it’s perfect,” Xiaojun said.
“Thank you for giving such a beautiful gift,” added Ten.
“I’m very honored to receive this gift. I wonder how I’ll carry it.” Kun continued.
The second day of the Allo Bank Festival 2024 was enlivened by the performances of a series of hit musicians from home and abroad. The Chinese boy group and NCT subunit WayV became the main performers on the second day of the event.
The group, consisting of Kun, Ten, Winwin, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang, performed in the Allo Stage indoor area with a lineup of other musicians. These included Rossa, Armada, Bunga Citra Lestari, Ayu Ting Ting, Mario G. Klau, and Ziva Magnolya.
The performance at Allo Stage took place from 18.00 WIB until 23.00 WIB and was also broadcast live on Trans TV.
