Jakarta, July 1, 2025 – Telkomsel, Indonesia’s leading digital telecommunications provider, in partnership with Viu, the pan-regional over-the-top (OTT) video streaming platform owned by PCCW, have officially joined forces to produce four drama series under the label “Viu | MAXStream Originals.” The first two confirmed titles are Rintik Terakhir and Secret High School, scheduled to premiere in August 2025 and September 2025 respectively. Two additional titles are currently in development.
This partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to delivering high-quality digital entertainment while fostering the growth of Indonesia’s creative economy and streaming industry on a pan-regional scale.
The collaboration was officially announced at APOS 2025 in Bali (June 24, 2025), a premier gathering of global leaders in media, telecommunications, and entertainment. Telkomsel continues to strengthen its digital lifestyle ecosystem through MAXStream, MyTelkomsel, and IndiHome, while Viu remains dedicated to promoting local stories and talent from Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
By combining Telkomsel’s expansive converged network reach with Viu’s content and streaming expertise, the partnership aims to broaden audience access, deepen engagement, and accelerate growth in the SVOD (Subscription Video on Demand) market—ultimately creating shared value for both companies and the broader Indonesian creative industry.

All “Viu | MAXStream Originals” series will premiere exclusively on Viu two weeks ahead of their release on MAXStream and IndiHomeTV, followed by simultaneous distribution to maximize reach across Telkomsel’s digital ecosystem and Viu’s markets in Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa.
