Legendary Irish pop group Westlife is officially heading back to Indonesia for what promises to be one of the biggest concerts of 2027. Ahead of their highly anticipated show in Jakarta, the group surprised Indonesian fans with a special greeting video filmed from the iconic Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.
In the video, members Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan, and Kian Egan expressed their excitement about returning to Indonesia as part of their global anniversary celebration.“This will be an incredible concert in 2027. All the hits together with you, the best fans in the world,” the group said warmly to Indonesian Westlifers.
Celebrating 25 Years of Westlife
The Jakarta concert is part of Westlife 25: The Anniversary World Tour, a worldwide celebration marking 25 years of the group’s extraordinary music journey. The tour will travel across the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia, bringing fans a nostalgic night filled with timeless hits and unforgettable memories.
Indonesia has once again been chosen as one of the special destinations on the tour, highlighting the country’s passionate fanbase and long-standing connection with the group.
The concert is set to take place on Saturday, January 23, 2027, at the massive Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, which is expected to host thousands of fans from across the region.
Promoted by Folagopro and Sound Rhythm, the event is being described as one of the largest stadium shows in Southeast Asia for the anniversary tour.
