GOT7’s youngest member, Yugyeom, brought his charismatic presence to Jakarta’s Balai Sarbini on Saturday (11/16/2024) with his solo concert “2024 YUGYEOM TOUR [TRUSTY] IN JAKARTA,” promoted by Three Angles Production. The event proved to be an unforgettable experience for his devoted fans, known as Ahgase.
Opening the show with a powerful rendition of “When U Fall,” Yugyeom immediately set the tone for an energy-filled evening. The 26-year-old artist demonstrated his commitment to fan engagement by encouraging the audience to stand throughout the concert, creating an electric atmosphere from start to finish.
Yugyeom expressed his genuine appreciation for Indonesian Ahgase presence. “Everyone, I really missed you all. Are you ready to have fun together today?” Yugyeom addressed his fans warmly. Showing his gratitude, he added, “First, I want to say thank you for giving your precious time and money for me. So that you won’t feel like it’s wasted, I’ll make sure we all enjoy today together.”
The setlist featured an impressive array of his hit songs, including “Take You Down,” “All Your Fault,” “Take It Slow,” “Say Nothing,” “LOLO,” “Wooyayaya,” and “Running Through The Rain.” During the performance of “Take It Slow” and “Say Nothing,” Yugyeom playfully interacted with his fans, asking if they preferred his sexy or cute side, to which the audience enthusiastically responded with “both.”
The concert was marked by several special moments, including Yugyeom’s surprise performance of an unreleased track. “This next song hasn’t been released yet. It’s a song I made recently,” he shared with excitement. “I’m trying to release this song this year. This is a new style. Please wait a bit because I will release it.”
The fan service reached new heights as Yugyeom ventured into the audience area, getting up close with his fans and leading singalongs. He also touched hearts with his performance of the nostalgic track “Falling in Love.”
The evening took an emotional turn during the encore when fans surprised Yugyeom with a special birthday celebration, as he was set to turn 27 the following day (November 17, 2024). The celebration included a touching video featuring birthday messages from both fans and fellow artists, including Loco and JayB. Visibly moved, Yugyeom expressed, “Thank you, I was surprised but I thought there might be a birthday celebration… Wow, Loco was there too, thank you so much Ahgase.”
In response to the overwhelming love from his fans, Yugyeom made a heartfelt promise: “I will always try my best so that you all can be proud of me. Becoming a singer who doesn’t change and always improves. I love you, I love you more.”
The concert concluded on a high note with Yugyeom performing GOT7’s hit song “Hard Carry,” adding an extra element of excitement by splashing water on the enthusiastic audience.
