LIMITED EDITION TOUR INFINITE Jakarta: Infinite’s Long-Awaited Redemption After a Decade

Infinite successfully fulfilled the longing of Indonesian fans through their concert titled Infinite 15th Anniversary Concert Limited Edition in Jakarta. The event was held at Tennis Indoor, Senayan, Central Jakarta on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

This concert marked Infinite’s comeback to Indonesia after 10 years, with the concert venue being the same as a decade ago.

At exactly 7:00 PM WIB, the center screen of the stage opened to reveal the six Infinite members: Kim Sung-kyu, Jang Dong-woo, Nam Woo-hyun, Lee Sung-yeol, L, and Lee Sung-jong. They appeared in black outfits and opened the concert with “Last Romeo”.

Without a pause, Infinite immediately performed “Paradise” and “The Eye”, backed by a live band, making the concert even more lively. Thousands of fans joined in singing with the six Infinite members.

After the songs, the members greeted the thousands of Inspirit who had come. The cheers from fans grew louder as each member introduced themselves.

“I’m Woo-hyun, and everyone is even more beautiful today. More beautiful, yes, good,” Woo-hyun said as he scanned the Tennis Indoor Senayan area.

“Thank you for waiting. Hello, I’m Sung-yeol,” said Sung-yeol, which was met with fan cheers.

The Infinite 15th Anniversary Concert Limited Edition in Jakarta was Infinite’s first concert in Indonesia after 10 years and promoted by CK Star Entertainment. As the concert title suggests, many special performances were prepared for the event.

“We’ve prepared a lot of special stages. This show can only be seen at the Limited Edition concert, and there will also be individual stages. We hope you’re looking forward to it,” said Infinite member L.

Sungyeol, during the performance of “Pray”, even unbuttoned his shirt to reveal his abs, exciting the fans.

Infinite also presented a new song, Sad Loop, which is planned to be part of their upcoming album to be released in March.

Infinite’s use of Indonesian words added a special charm to their performance. Phrases like “Semuanya lebih cantik ya” (Everyone looks more beautiful), “Terima kasih sudah tunggu” (Thank you for waiting), “Halo sayang” (Hello, darling), “Seru enggak?” (Isn’t it fun?), “Mantap” (Awesome), and “Sayang sayangku” (My darling) were cheered on by the audience.

They also used some rare Indonesian slang like “jayus” (lame), “kece” (cool), and “ciyus” (serious), which delighted fans even more.

Not stopping there, the members also made small changes to the lyrics of some songs. For instance, L changed the first word of the song “Between Me & You” from “yeogie” (here) to “cintaku” (my love).

The concert continued with songs like “Inception”, “New Emotions”, and “Back”. The 15-year career journey of Infinite in the music industry was reflected through the setlist of the concert.

Several group members even came down from the stage, allowing fans to see them up close and take photos with their mobile phones. Some fans even recorded themselves using the fans’ phones as a souvenir to take home.

Sungkyu handed the microphone to the fans, encouraging them to sing along. He also noted that there were male fans in the crowd, apart from Dongwoo and Woohyun. “It’s been a long time since we came to Jakarta. I’m really happy today. I can perform comfortably. There are a lot of male fans at this concert,” Sungkyu said.

Dongwoo had a lot of fun during the concert. He laughed at his own antics, including his improvisation during “Be Mine”, Woohyun’s failed attempt at a handstand, and the fans asking for the concert to be extended by three more days.

The rapper of the group, Dongwoo, had the fans in silence and deep emotion during his performance of “True Love”. He also showcased his piano-playing skills during his solo performance.

As for solo stages, Sungjong performed “Monster Time”, L sang “Shot”, Sungyeol did “What’s Not to Love” (originally L’s), Sungkyu performed “Calm & Passion” (originally Woohyun’s), and Woohyun presented “Kontrol” (originally Sungkyu’s).

“The atmosphere is amazing. This is Jakarta, I’m touched. INSPIRIT, we belong to you,” said Woohyun, who repeatedly said, “Enggak mau pulang” (Don’t want to go home).

A total of 27 songs were energetically performed by Infinite during the Jakarta concert. Some of the highlights included “The Chaser”, “Pray”, “Be Mine”, and their new song “Sad Loop”, which will be part of their upcoming album.

The special performances, combined with Infinite’s interaction with their fans, made the concert even more enjoyable. The Infinite concert in Jakarta, promoted by CK Star Entertainment, ended at 10:15 PM with “White Confession” (Lately).

Infinite’s Jakarta concert was a thrilling and unforgettable experience for their Indonesian fans. Until next time, at their next concert!
