Not only Jakarta, K-Festival 2024 is Officially Held in 4 Other Major Cities

For fans of all things Korean, enjoy every aspect of South Korean culture by participating in the annual K-Festival 2024, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Indonesia, along with the Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI), Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), and Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA).

This annual event runs from September 23 to November 24, 2024, and will take place in five cities: Jakarta, Bandung, Palembang, Medan, and Balikpapan.

According to Park Soo Deok, the Deputy Ambassador of Korea to Indonesia, this event is the largest festival in Indonesia involving many members of Team Korea to promote Hallyu content.

“K-Festival 2024 is the largest Hallyu festival in Indonesia initiated by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Indonesia, in collaboration with various public institutions and Korean companies as part of ‘Team Korea’ to promote Hallyu content,” said Park Soo Deok at KOREA 360, Lotte Mall, on September 23, 2024.

Moreover, Park Soo Deok hopes that this annual festival can serve as a platform for both countries to better understand each other’s cultures.

“We also hope this festival can be a venue for Indonesian and Korean people to understand each other’s cultures through two-way cultural exchange, one of which is through the Korea-Indonesia Film Festival,” he added.
