Tokyo, July 31, 2026 – Imagine receiving a chilling message after someone you love has been kidnapped: “How far are you willing to go to save the one you love? Only one can survive.” That terrifying question sets the stage for kiDnap GAME, Fuji Television’s ambitious new drama series starring Kentaro Sakaguchi and Lee Joon-gi.
Premiering in October 2026 as part of Fuji TV’s Tuesday 9:00 p.m. drama lineup, kiDnap GAME promises a high-stakes psychological thriller that spans multiple countries across Asia.
Two Families. One Chance to Survive.
Kentaro Sakaguchi stars as Toshiro Niide, a detective whose wife, Saori, is abducted. Lee Joon-gi plays Han Ki-joo, a skilled surgeon whose young daughter falls victim to the same wave of kidnappings.
Although they have never met, the two men receive the exact same message and unwillingly become players in the deadly kiDnap GAME.
Each participant is assigned a different mission, and completing it is the only way to save their loved one. But there’s a devastating catch—the game guarantees survival for only one victim.
Faced with an impossible dilemma, Niide and Ki-joo must decide whether to work together to uncover the mastermind behind the game or betray each other in a desperate fight to save their own family.
A Kidnapping Crisis Across Seven Asian Cities
The story begins with coordinated kidnappings that strike Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Naha, and Manila simultaneously, sending the region into chaos.
Seven strangers from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds suddenly find themselves connected by a mysterious organization. As they race against time, the biggest questions remain unanswered: Why were they chosen, and what is the mastermind’s true objective?
The newly released second teaser visual captures the intense confrontation between the two protagonists and the unseen force controlling the deadly game. Meanwhile, the first teaser trailer offers a glimpse of the series’ cinematic scale and the cross-border mystery that unfolds throughout Asia.
