Netflix Unveils Trailer for New Korean Romantic Comedy Our Sticky Love Starring Jung Hae-in and Ha Young

Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming Korean romantic comedy series Our Sticky Love, offering viewers a first look at the charming chemistry between Jung Hae-in and Ha Young ahead of its August 7 premiere.

Blending romance, mystery, and comedy, the series follows an unlikely couple brought together by an extraordinary twist of fate. Ha Young stars as Go Eun-sae, a prosecutor who wakes up with no memory of who she is, while Jung Hae-in plays Jang Tae-ha, a boxing coach who unexpectedly claims to be her boyfriend.

As the two begin living together in a quiet countryside town, what starts as an awkward arrangement gradually blossoms into an unconventional yet heartwarming love story.

A Romance as Sweet as Korean Taffy

Director Kim Jang-han describes Our Sticky Love as “a heartwarming and delightful romantic comedy.”

“The story is about building a love that is as sticky and sweet as Korean taffy,” he said. “Its charm will keep viewers hooked, just like the irresistible taste of traditional Korean taffy.”

The metaphor perfectly reflects the drama’s central relationship—a romance that slowly forms through trust, warmth, and shared experiences rather than instant attraction.

A Small Town Filled With Big Secrets

The newly released trailer opens in Taffy Village, located in Gujin County, where Eun-sae awakens in an unfamiliar rural hospital with her memories completely erased.

Already overwhelmed by her situation, she’s even more confused when Tae-ha calmly introduces himself as her boyfriend.

Nothing about him matches the type of man she remembers liking. His rugged appearance, combined with the peaceful village lined with traditional taffy shops and populated by quirky locals, only deepens her suspicion. Feeling completely out of place, Eun-sae struggles to believe anything Tae-ha tells her.

Yet despite her doubts, Tae-ha never wavers.

His unwavering kindness and quiet devotion slowly begin to break through Eun-sae’s emotional defenses. As his genuine affection becomes impossible to ignore, she gradually finds herself smiling more whenever he’s around, even if she can’t explain why.

One Warning Changes Everything

Just as their relationship begins to grow closer, the story takes an intriguing turn.

Tae-ha suddenly warns Eun-sae that no one must discover they are together, hinting that their relationship is tied to a much larger secret.

The revelation raises a series of compelling questions. What is Tae-ha hiding? Why is Eun-sae supposedly safest by his side? And what really happened before she lost her memory that connected their lives so tightly?

The mystery promises to add emotional depth to the series while keeping audiences guessing as the romance unfolds.

With its mix of heartfelt comedy, memorable characters, and an intriguing mystery at its core, Our Sticky Love looks set to deliver a refreshing take on the classic romantic comedy formula.

Our Sticky Love premieres August 7, exclusively on Netflix.
