Jakarta, April 14, 2025 — After the phenomenal success of the animated film “JUMBO”, currently still screening in theaters with over 3 million viewers and counting, Visinema Studios is ready to warm the hearts of Indonesian families once again by bringing back “Keluarga Cemara: The Musical Stage Show”. This beloved stage musical will run from June 20 to July 13, 2025, at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta.
The musical will continue the success of last year’s debut run, which attracted over 30,000 audience members across 30 shows.
Presented by Visinema Studios in collaboration with Indonesia Kaya and Ciputra Artpreneur, this year’s edition will feature the return of talented Indonesian actors and musicians from the original production. Taufan Purbo, Simhala Avadana, Andrea Miranda, and Galabby will reprise their roles as Abah and Emak, while Amira Karin, Aisyah Fadhila, Fazka Bahanan, and Quinn Salman will return as Euis and Ara.
This year’s musical will also introduce new cast members, including the iconic Mang Saswi, who will portray the character Kang Romli. Alongside the new cast, the production promises exciting developments and enhancements from last year—ranging from choreography and set design to original songs—designed to bring even more laughter, joy, and heartfelt moments to Indonesian families.
“Keluarga Cemara: The Musical Stage Show” is produced by Cristian Imanuell, Billy Gamaliel, and Chriskevin Adefrid, with executive producers Anggia Kharisma and Herry B. Salim. Pasha Prakasa returns as director, with Yemima Krisantina and Widya Arifianti as scriptwriters.

Last year, the production also won an AMI Award for Best Musical Album. This year, Ifa Fachir and Simhala Avadana return as composers, bringing new musical arrangements that will touch audiences with warmth and nostalgia.
