Special for National Children’s Day! Meet Myesha Lin, the Talented Child Star Who Charms Everyone by Singing Rossa’s “Tegar”

Jakarta, July 23, 2025 — Among many moments in the official trailer of the comedy-drama film Call Me Dad (Panggil Aku Ayah), one face stands out and captures attention. That is Myesha Lin, the child actress who plays Intan, also known as Pacil, in the film. In the trailer, Myesha delivers a stunning performance, naturally portraying a wide range of emotions — from sadness and anger to happiness.

Myesha is a living proof that when children are given a safe space and the right support to nurture their talents, they can develop their potential optimally. This aligns perfectly with the meaning of National Children’s Day, which emphasizes that children have the right to play and enjoy recreation.

In this film, Myesha shares the screen with Ringgo Agus Rahman as Dedi and Boris Bokir as Tatang, both debt collectors. The story follows Intan, who was initially used as collateral by her mother, Rossa (played by Sita Nursanti), who leaves to work overseas as a migrant worker. Intan is then cared for by Dedi and Tatang, who gradually form a family bond with her, despite having no blood relation.

Despite being involved in a major film production, Myesha still has the right to play without feeling burdened by production demands. A safe and comfortable environment for children is maintained on the set of Call Me Dad.

“I really enjoyed filming this movie. One of the best parts was when Mang Dedi (Ringgo Agus Rahman) carried me because it was comfortable and I didn’t get tired. Also, the scene riding a motorcycle while singing was fun,” Myesha Lin shared about her experience on the set of Call Me Dad.

Not only is she a great actress, but Myesha — whom Ringgo praises for being unselfish during filming — also has a talent for singing. She showcased this unexpectedly by singing “Tegar,” a song by Indonesia’s Queen of Pop, Rossa, during the press conference for the film trailer launch, after Sita Nursanti and Tissa Biani (who plays adult Intan) performed it.

“I can sing too,” said Myesha.

Her spontaneous performance surprised everyone in the room and was met with enthusiastic applause. Myesha was even lifted up by Boris Bokir because she was so adorable. The song “Tegar” will be the film’s official soundtrack, also performed by Sita Nursanti and Tissa Biani.

Myesha represents a gifted child talent in acting. She has also starred in several films and appeared as a commercial model. Her impressive talents can be seen in Call Me Dad, presented by Visinema Studios, releasing in cinemas on August 7, 2025!

Call Me Dad will premiere nationwide in Indonesian cinemas starting August 7, 2025.
