Jakarta, September 8, 2026 — Putri Marino and Arya Saloka are teaming up once again for Empat Musim Pertiwi, the latest feature from acclaimed filmmaker Kamila Andini. The reunion marks another collaboration between the two actors following their memorable appearance together in the hit series Gadis Kretek.
Putri Marino takes on the lead role of Pertiwi, while Arya Saloka portrays Bisma. The film also brings Putri back together with director Kamila Andini and producer Ifa Isfansyah, making the project a reunion not only for the two actors but also for a creative team that has worked together before.
For Putri, returning to the same creative circle brought an immediate sense of warmth and familiarity.“This is already my second project with Kak Dini and Mas Ifa. If you ask me how it feels, it’s definitely wonderful, warm, and joyful to collaborate again with Arya after Gadis Kretek. It feels like coming home,” Putri said during the trailer and poster launch for Empat Musim Pertiwi in Jakarta on September 8, 2026.
A Familiar Team, A Feeling of Coming Home
For Putri, the reunion offered more than simply the opportunity to work with familiar faces. She said returning to a team she already knew created a sense of comfort and trust that allowed her to approach the role more freely.“Meeting Kak Dini again, Mas Ifa, Arya, everyone—it feels comfortable. It feels like I’m trusted. I don’t feel afraid of making one or two mistakes. So it feels comfortable,” she explained.
That sense of familiarity appears to mirror one of the central ideas behind Empat Musim Pertiwi: the complicated meaning of returning to a place—or to people—that once felt like home.
For Arya Saloka, It Feels Like Coming Home Too
The idea of “coming home” resonates strongly with Arya Saloka as well.
Reflecting on his return to the team after their previous collaboration, the actor described the experience of filming Empat Musim Pertiwi as a homecoming of his own.“It really does feel like coming home. Everyone eventually goes off wandering. When you’re tired and exhausted, you go home. So when someone tells you, ‘Come home. Let’s go shoot,’ that’s how it feels,” Arya said.
He also admitted that he was excited to reunite with the team and had been eager to collaborate again even before production began.“I’m happy. When they invited me, I couldn’t wait. I really wanted to collaborate again and prepare everything together,” he said.
Meet the Cast of Empat Musim Pertiwi
Putri Marino leads the film as Pertiwi, with Arya Saloka playing Bisma and veteran actress Christine Hakim portraying Mak Ira.
The ensemble cast is further strengthened by Hana Malasan, Iswadi Pratama, Hargi Sundari, Nagra Kautsar Pakusadewo, Totos Rasiti, and Shofia Shireen, who plays the younger version of Pertiwi.
With a cast combining established performers and younger talent, the film brings together a diverse group of actors to portray a story rooted in family, memory, and the consequences of the past.
A Homecoming That Isn’t Quite Welcomed
Empat Musim Pertiwi follows Pertiwi, a woman who is released from prison after serving a sentence of more than a decade.
After years away, she returns to the village where she grew up, hoping to step back into a place that was once her home. But instead of a warm welcome, Pertiwi is met with rejection and unease—not only from the people in the village but also from her own family.
Her return forces old wounds and unresolved questions to the surface, turning the idea of “home” into something far more complicated than simply returning to a familiar place.
Directed by Kamila Andini, Empat Musim Pertiwi promises an emotionally charged story about return, identity, memory, and the difficult process of confronting the past.
And for Putri Marino and Arya Saloka, the film offers another kind of homecoming: a chance to reunite with familiar collaborators, revisit the chemistry that audiences first saw in Gadis Kretek, and embark on a new story together.
