Jakarta, Indonesia – July 30, 2026 — Streaming platform Viu is set to keep audiences entertained throughout the third quarter of 2026 with a diverse lineup of seven new titles spanning romance, comedy, thriller, family drama, variety entertainment, and original Indonesian productions.

Announced during the Viu Media Gathering Q3 2026 in Jakarta, the upcoming slate reflects the platform’s strategy of delivering fresh content every week while catering to viewers with a wide range of entertainment preferences.

This quarter’s lineup includes Dream to You, Lapor Pak!, The Affair Was Just the Beginning, Garam Muda, OK! Let’s Get Divorced, Zong Ran, and Dia Perempuan Sialan.

While Dream to You premiered on July 13 and Lapor Pak! arrived on July 24, the remaining titles will roll out gradually between late July and September.

According to Adisti Latiefi, Senior Director of SVOD Monetization at Viu Indonesia, today’s streaming competition is no longer about who has the largest content library.

“It’s about who can bring audiences back every week because there’s always something new and relevant to watch,” she explained.

“Through our spirit of ‘Something New Every Week on Viu for You,’ we want to deliver fresh, diverse stories for Indonesian audiences. Success isn’t measured by the number of titles we offer, but by stories people genuinely look forward to and keep coming back for.”

One of the platform’s headline releases is Dream to You, starring Hwang In-youp and Hyeri.

The 12-episode romantic comedy follows Woo Su-bin, a talented young film director who returns to Korea in search of Joo Yi-jae, the girl who once shared his dreams during their teenage years. While Su-bin has achieved professional success, Yi-jae has quietly abandoned her own ambitions while working as a reporter.

Their reunion becomes a heartfelt journey of rediscovering forgotten dreams, healing emotional scars, and navigating adulthood, burnout, and self-discovery.

Comedy fans can now enjoy 30 curated episodes of the hit Indonesian variety show Lapor Pak!

Known for its hilarious sketches, improvisation, and satirical take on current events, the series features popular entertainers including Andre Taulany, Wendi Cagur, Andhika Pratama, Kiky Saputri, Ayu Ting Ting, Surya Insomnia, and Hesti Purwadinata.

The first ten episodes became available on July 24, with one additional episode released daily until the full collection is complete.

Dark Comedy Meets Crime Mystery

Premiering on July 31, The Affair Was Just the Beginning blends family drama, dark comedy, crime mystery, and social satire into an eight-episode thriller.

The story follows Kyung-hee, a successful CEO known as “Korea’s Mom Next Door,” whose seemingly perfect life begins to crumble after she suspects her husband of having an affair.
