Paul Kim’s First Visit to Jakarta: Surprised by the Enthusiastic Fans from the Airport to KOREA 360 Anniversary Celebration

South Korean soloist Paul Kim admitted he was surprised by the large number of fans who greeted him at Soekarno Hatta Airport in Jakarta on Thursday (December 5, 2024). He had arrived late at night from Seoul, so he did not expect many fans to be waiting for him. Paul had come to Indonesia to perform at the KOREA 360 2nd Anniversary: <2GETHER> event on Friday (December 6, 2024).

“Since I arrived pretty late, I thought there wouldn’t be any fans waiting for me, so I wasn’t really prepared for photos,” Paul said during a press conference before the KOREA 360 event at Lotte Mall Kuningan, South Jakarta. “But it turns out there were quite a few fans at the airport,” he added with a smile.

Paul expressed how happy he was to visit Jakarta for the first time. He had previously visited Bali twice.

The 36-year-old singer had expected Jakarta’s weather to be hot, but upon experiencing it firsthand, he was pleasantly surprised. “But unfortunately, I just arrived last night, and because there was a press conference and a performance today, I haven’t had much time to explore Jakarta,” said Paul. He hoped to have more time to get to know Jakarta outside of work commitments.

After the press conference, Paul left his handprint on the floor at the Collect Town area of KOREA 360. He then held a mini concert, performing three songs: “Me After You,” “Every Day, Every Moment,” and “So Long.” His appearance concluded with a Hi-Touch and group photo session for lucky fans.
