Surabaya – Monday, February 17, 2025 – The Irish rock band, The Script, once again electrified the stage at their “Satellites World Tour 2025” concert in Jatim Expo, Surabaya [Sunday, February 16], presented by Otello Asia. Their lively performance on Sunday night not only shook thousands of fans inside the venue but also continued outside, when the band members decided to entertain fans by singing on top of a car after the show.

From the beginning of the concert, The Script presented a stage full of energy. The band members, including lead vocalist Danny O’Donoghue, engaged in warm interaction with the enthusiastic Surabaya audience. The festive atmosphere peaked when their hit songs played, following the opening act by Hoobastank. The Script performed a total of 18 songs specially selected to delight their fans in Indonesia.

After completing the closing song “Hall of Fame,” instead of leaving the venue, The Script surprised fans who had just exited Jatim Expo. The band members appeared in the parking area and climbed on top of a car, spontaneously performing their hit songs. This act quickly drew the attention of fans who rushed to capture the rare moment. “It’s such a joy to be back in Surabaya. We want to make sure everyone who came goes home with amazing memories,” said Danny O’Donoghue just before his performance outside the venue. “The energy from the crowd tonight was incredible, and we wanted to give them a little extra surprise before they really head home.”
This concert in Surabaya was an important stop on The Script’s “Satellites World Tour 2025” in Indonesia. Earlier, they had rocked Jakarta with equal enthusiasm. Their all-out performance—from the spectacular stage lights, booming sound, to personal interaction with the audience—received highly positive responses from music fans across the country.
