Jakarta, August 7, 2025 — Multinational girl group PAPION, based in Indonesia, officially introduced themselves to the public through a dazzling debut showcase held at Bali United Studio 2, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.
The five members took the stage one by one to greet the audience: Angel, Naufa, and Farah from Indonesia, Ponn from Thailand, Naia from the United States
Inspired by the Butterfly — A Symbol of Transformation
The name PAPION is derived from the French word “Papillon,” meaning butterfly—symbolizing diversity, freedom, and metamorphosis. Just like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon, PAPION arrives with the spirit of transformation and courage to transcend geographical and cultural boundaries.“PAPION is the embodiment of a big dream born in Indonesia, formed by talents from different countries, and prepared with international standards,” said Naufa during the showcase.

During the introduction session, Angel opened up about her transition from modeling to music.“Music is the most honest way to express myself. I want to share our feelings through songs and connect with everyone,” she said.
