Aliando Syarief, Aisyah Aqilah, Jeremy Thomas, and Mona Ratuliu are brought together in a new project series Cinta Mati. The series, which will air on WeTV Indonesia, brings together romance and thrillers that are rarely found.
What is the story of this series that is about to start filming?
According to Lesley Simpson, Executive Producer and Country Head of WeTV Indonesia, Cinta Mati provides a new color that is expected to attract public attention.
“WeTV Original Cinta Mati brings a different color with the romance thriller genre which will certainly attract public attention,” said Lesley in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Friday, August 9, 2024.
“We hope that the public will love the series desperately and become an addiction for the audience,” he added.
Aliando Syarief, who is the lead actor in the series, thinks the story offered in Cinta Mati is very interesting.
“I was first attracted to this series because it is very beyond the expectations of existing series in Indonesia. In addition, there are many moral stories that can certainly be accepted by the community,” Aliando explained.
Aisyah Aqilah, who plays the character Aleya, a ballerina, expressed her excitement in exploring the role.
“It’s really fun to practice ballet, even though it’s only 3 times of practice, but it’s a new learning for me,” said Aisyah.
The Cinta Mati series tells the challenging love story between Aleya (played by Aisyah Aqilah) and Bara (played by Aliando Syarief). Bara, who initially seems kind and sweet, turns out to have a dark side as a psychopath who is obsessed with Aleya. Bara does not hesitate to destroy anyone who is considered to be in the way of his love for Aleya, including her father, Reyhan (played by Jeremy Thomas), who tries to protect his daughter at all costs.
Aleya’s character is the center of an interesting story, with her background as a ballerina who must face a dangerous relationship with Bara. Meanwhile, the conflict between Aleya and her father, Reyhan, illustrates the dilemma that often occurs in family relationships when facing the wrong choice of love.
