South Korean actor Jung Hae In returned to Indonesia for a fan meeting titled OUR TIME in JAKARTA, promoted by Brausslive and Diwaku Entertainment.
The fan meeting took place at the Balai Kartini Exhibition & Convention Center in Jakarta on Saturday, December 7, 2024, in the evening.
During this event, Jung Hae In did many things to pamper the fans who were present. In addition to singing and having casual chats, the star of Love Next Door also cooked on stage.
The handsome actor, born April 1, 1988, kicked off his second fan meeting in Indonesia by singing the song The Truth, which is also the soundtrack of Love Next Door.
Hae In, who is friendly, energetic, and surprisingly humorous, made the Haeiness (his fanbase) feel comfortable, staying for almost 3 hours.
Wearing a black shirt and black pants, Hae In continued his performance by randomly picking questions from fans to answer. Once again, his choice of questions was often out of the box. For example, he picked questions like “What are your tips for cleaning your room?”, “What’s the best whiskey recently?”, and even a confession “Oppa, I’m single,” which he answered with a big smile and laughter.
In addition to answering these intriguing questions, Hae In also entertained the fans by flirting in Indonesian, revealing behind-the-scenes photos and scenes from the series, and playing games like the traditional bekel ball game.
Jung Hae In struggled a bit at first to flip the bekel pieces one by one. Initially, he simply tossed the ball to flip the bekel pieces and then caught it. However, after being reminded by his team, he corrected his technique. He threw the ball, let it bounce on the table, adjusted the bekel pieces, and then caught the ball. “Is this the correct way?” he asked the audience from the stage.
Several times, the ball flew off the table too strongly and landed in the audience, who eagerly picked it up. However, Jung Hae In didn’t give up. After 2-3 attempts where the ball went off the table, he finally managed to get all six bekel pieces standing up. The audience cheered.
The highlight came when the actor, who recently won the Best Supporting Actor award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards, completed the challenge of cooking klepon on stage!
This traditional Indonesian food was made carefully and with enthusiasm by Hae In from scratch. Initially, he was asked to make three pieces but ended up making five at his own request. At the end of the cooking session, five lucky fans were invited to the stage and received an extra fan service: they were fed klepon by Hae In himself!
“This is my first time making this,” Jung Hae In said.
“Actually, I only wanted to make three. Two for the fans and one for me to try,” Jung Hae In explained.
“But then I made five. And I gave all of them to the fans,” he added with a laugh.
Despite this, Jung Hae In joked, “It’s okay, I’ll just buy some from the market,” which made the audience laugh.
But the surprises didn’t stop there. During the full fan service night, Hae In also shared and filmed a project for Haeiness that will be launched next year, called Time Capsule. So exciting!
A Hae In fan meeting wouldn’t be complete without hearing his beautiful voice. In addition to The Truth, he sang about three other songs: Good Night, Good Dream, Until I Found You, and Start.
The abundance of fan service provided by Hae In certainly made the fans very happy.
Jakarta is one of the cities in Asia that Hae In visited as part of his Our Time tour. Apart from Asia, the fan meeting for the actor, who also starred in the movie Veteran 2, will also visit countries in South America.
As is well known, this is not Jung Hae In’s first fan meeting in Indonesia. He previously held a fan meeting at The Kasablanka Hall on September 16, 2023.
