“We’ll Come Back Again, Sayang” — Superthai Promises Return to Indonesia After Electrifying Songkran Show

Jakarta’s celebration of Songkran this year wasn’t just about water splashes and cultural festivities—it became a heartfelt moment between artists and fans. Thai boy group Superthai left a lasting impression at the Sanuk Siam Festival 2026, not only through their high-energy performance but also with a touching promise: they will return.

Taking place on April 25, 2026, at One Bel Park, the event—titled Jakarta’s 1st Songkran Mini Music Festival—was organized by Sanuk Mak Thai Space and Sanuk Mak Thai Event. It brought together music, culture, and cross-border connection, with Superthai as one of its brightest highlights.

Before stepping onto the stage, the group had already expressed their excitement during a press conference. Member Ninja shared that their performance was carefully prepared to go beyond music alone. “Our performance focuses on our album while enhancing the experience through culture, language, and songs. We’re really excited to perform today,” he said. He also acknowledged the overwhelming support from Indonesian fans, noting that their constant encouragement has played a big role in motivating the group—especially when performing special cover songs.

And they delivered exactly that. Superthai lit up the stage with their popular tracks such as Run the Show, Generate, and Heartbreaker, showcasing their signature blend of charisma and precision. The excitement grew even stronger when they performed covers from both Korean and Indonesian artists. Songs like Pandangan Pertama and Alamak had the crowd singing along, creating a warm, shared moment between the group and their fans.

But perhaps the most memorable part of the night came from member Tadalee, whose heartfelt words resonated deeply with the audience. Expressing his affection for Indonesian fans, he said, “We don’t know where to go sometimes… I love you guys, okay? We will come back again, love.” His message, though simple, carried genuine emotion—promising not just a return, but more shared memories in the future.

He continued with playful enthusiasm, encouraging fans to keep their spirits high and cherish the moments they spend together. It was a reminder that beyond the music, the connection between Superthai and their fans is something they truly value.

The festival itself offered a lively mix of activities inspired by Thailand’s iconic Songkran celebration, including water splashing, random play dance sessions, traditional and modern performances, as well as Thai food and hobby booths. The vibrant atmosphere made it more than just a concert—it was a cultural experience.

As the night came to a close, one thing was clear: Superthai didn’t just perform—they connected. And with their promise to return, fans in Indonesia now have something to look forward to.
