About The Script
The Script is a rock band from Dublin, Ireland, formed in 2001. The band consists of Danny O’Donoghue as the lead vocalist, piano/keyboard player, and rhythm guitarist, and Glen Power on drums, percussion, and backing vocals—both founding members. Mark Sheehan, the former lead guitarist and co-founder of the band, passed away in 2023, leaving a deep musical legacy for The Script and their fans. In 2024, Benjamin Sargeant joined as bassist and backing vocalist after being a touring musician since 2007, and Ben Weaver joined as the new lead guitarist, replacing Mark. With this new lineup, The Script continues to produce captivating and inspiring music for their fans around the world.
After surpassing 10 billion streams, 12 million album sales, six #1 albums in the UK, and two Platinum-certified singles in the United States, The Script returned with their latest album, Satellites, on August 16, 2024. Hoobastank is a rock band from California, USA, formed in 1994. The band consists of Doug Robb (vocals), Dan Estrin (guitar), Chris Hesse (drums), and Jesse Charland (bass). They gained worldwide fame with their hit song “The Reason,” released in 2003, thanks to its emotional lyrics and catchy melody.
In addition to “The Reason,” Hoobastank is also known for other popular songs such as “Crawling in the Dark” and “Running Away.” The band has a distinctive alternative rock style, combining rock elements with strong melodies and meaningful lyrics.
