Jakarta, January 31, 2025 — One of the most anticipated films of the year, the animated film from Visinema Studios, “JUMBO,” has announced its premiere date this Eid, to be shown in cinemas across Indonesia. The animated film “JUMBO” will be a perfect watch for everyone, including children and families, to accompany the Eid holidays with a warm story that reflects on values such as courage, self-confidence, and the importance of family and friendship.
The animated film “JUMBO” tells the story of a boy named Don, voiced by Prince Poetiray and Den Bagus Sasono, who often feels underestimated by his friends. To prove he is more than just a big-bodied kid who never wins at anything, Don is determined to participate in a talent show by performing a stage play inspired by the storybook written by his late parents.
However, everything changes when a bully steals the book. Don then meets a young child who asks for his help to reunite with their parents, and agrees to assist Don in retrieving the book.
The animated film “JUMBO” features a star-studded voice cast, including Bunga Citra Lestari, Ariel NOAH, Cinta Laura Kiehl, Angga Yunanda, Quinn Salman, and introduces Prince Poetiray.
Produced by Anggia Kharisma, who successfully released the film “Keluarga Cemara,” along with Novia Puspa Sari, “JUMBO” marks the feature film debut of writer and director Ryan Adriandhy. Ryan previously won the 2020 Citra Award for Best Short Animation Film.

The Story of the ‘Little Knight’ in “Dongeng Pulau Gelembung”
Previously, Visinema Studios also released an audio fairy tale on digital platforms titled “Dongeng Pulau Gelembung,” which is part of the animated film “JUMBO.” In “Dongeng Pulau Gelembung,” Don’s parents, voiced by Bunga Citra Lestari and Ariel NOAH, narrate the story with warmth and beauty, accompanied by audio effects that bring to life the tale of the ‘Little Knight’ who lives on Bubble Island, a bedtime story for Don.
“Dongeng Pulau Gelembung” teaches children values of bravery and independence, especially when they are no longer accompanied by their parents. The story also encourages children to interact and make friends. The audio atmosphere created in “Dongeng Pulau Gelembung” helps spark children’s imagination as they follow the adventure of the ‘Little Knight’ on Bubble Island.
