After successfully shaking up Manila, 2NE1 fans, known as Blackjacks, in Jakarta finally got to experience the legendary K-pop group’s concert once again. This concert marks the second one after 10 years since 2NE1 held their solo concert in Jakarta. Titled the 2024-25 2NE1 ASIA TOUR [WELCOME BACK] IN JAKARTA, the concert was promoted by iMe Indonesia and took place on November 22 and 23, 2024, at Beach City International Stadium (BCIS).

The concert started at 7:30 PM WIB, filled with magical moments, especially for Blackjack who have been fans since 2009 and were seeing them perform live for the first time, as well as for those who had witnessed the group last concert in Jakarta back in 2014.
The opening night of their two-night concert quickly turned into a karaoke party as Blackjacks energetically sang and jumped to the group’s debut song “Fire,” along with various songs played before the show.
The party continued with high-energy performances of “Clap Your Hands” and “Can’t Nobody.” Loud cheers erupted as each member introduced themselves, and the arena was filled with excited screams when CL asked the fans, “How are you doing tonight?”
Then, Dara loudly greeted, “Jakarta Mantap!”
The fans got even more excited and the energy skyrocketed when 2NE1 continued the concert with “Do You Love Me.”The group then moved to the front stage to get closer to their fans.

They followed with a performance of “Falling in Love” and continued with their 2009 hit, “I Don’t Care.”The atmosphere became even more intense as CL took the solo stage for performances of “The Baddest Female” and “MTBD.”Joining her were YG Entertainment dancers Sumin, Will Han, Sooram, Bit, Aekdo, Myung Chill, Hyeon Ik, and Lark, who added even more energy to the performance.
The concert paused briefly for a special video segment featuring various K-pop stars. Artists such as IU, G-Dragon, Treasure, New Jeans, and even American rapper Pharrell Williams, among others, sent congratulatory messages to 2NE1 for their reunion concert, which was displayed on the LED screens.Fans were also treated to a short dance cam session, grooving to popular 2NE1 songs.
After the interlude, the four members of 2NE1 returned to the stage to perform their ballads.
They began with “Missing You,” with CL and Minzy stepping in to cover Bom’s lines. The ballad segment continued with performances of “It Hurts,” “If I Were You,” and “Lonely.”
For the grand finale, the group performed an electrifying set of their hit songs, including “I Love You,” “Ugly,” “Gotta Be You,” “COME BACK HOME,” “I Am the Best,” and “Go Away.”

Naturally, no 2NE1 concert would be complete without an encore.
The group returned to the stage, wearing their merchandise, and delighted the audience with a heartwarming performance of “Happy.”As they sang, they actively interacted with the fans, creating an impressive and joyful atmosphere to close the concert.
In a special moment, Dara also prepared an Indonesian song. In the middle of the concert, she passionately performed “Rasa Sayang-Sayange,” which made the fans even more excited.
For their final encore performance, 2NE1 treated their fans to a medley of their iconic tracks, including “Crush,” “I Don’t Care,” “Ugly,” “Go Away,” and “Can’t Nobody.”
Before bowing out, CL addressed the fans with a heartfelt message, saying, “We are 2NE1 and we will see you very soon!”
During the encore on the first night of their Jakarta concert, enthusiastic fans shouted for an additional performance.
CL embraced the audience’s energy and hinted that it might be a possibility.
Park Bom then said, “You know what? If you really want it, you know what can happen, right? Not tomorrow, but we will come back with a new album!” The crowd roared with excitement.
After successfully entertaining the fans in Jakarta, Indonesia, 2NE1 continues their Welcome Back concert tour. Other stops include Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Macau, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
The “Welcome Back” tour is in celebration of their 15th anniversary as a girl group.
