The Irish band The Script successfully held their concert in Jakarta at ICE BSD on Thursday (February 14, 2025). Coinciding with Valentine’s Day, the concert, promoted by Color Live Asia and Otello Asia, was opened by the American band Hoobastank.
With cheers from the audience guided by Boy William, Hoobastank performed their hit songs such as Crawling In The Dark, Running Away, and The Reason. Hoobastank heated up the stage before drummer Glen Power of The Script started their set with percussion for the song You Won’t Feel a Thing. Lead vocalist Danny O’Donoghue continued with hits like Superheroes, Rain, Both Ways, and Six Degrees of Separation.
The Script’s anthem The Man Who Can’t Be Moved was performed, along with The Last Time and If You Could See Me Now.

“It’s great to be back, but Mark can’t be with us on this beautiful night, so we dedicate this song to him,” Danny said. The Script also performed a new song from their Satellites album, Inside Out. For Never Seen Anything Quite Like You, Danny didn’t hesitate to invite the audience to join him on stage.
The concert continued with Before the Worst, Nothing, No Good in Goodbye, Paint the Town Green, and For the First Time. Another track from their latest album, Home Is Where the Hurt Is, was also performed.
Danny expressed how moved he was by the warm reception from the fans. “I still feel goosebumps since the start of the concert. It’s incredible to have fun together,” Danny said. The concert closed with Breakeven and Hall of Fame.
