For the first time, South Korean actor Choi Jin Hyuk held a fan concert in Jakarta at Gandaria City Hall on Saturday, November 23, 2024. The event, titled CHOI JIN HYUK FAN CON TOUR: DAY AND NIGHT IN JAKARTA, marked his first opportunity to greet his fans in Indonesia.
Choi Jin Hyuk interacted with fans through various fun activities, including a Q&A session and games. The Emergency Couple actor was also challenged to try Indonesian food, including tempe and durian fruit.
Not only did Choi Jin Hyuk engage with fans, but he also brought his mother along to Jakarta. He mentioned that this was his first overseas trip with his mother. “This is my first overseas trip with my mom. I’m so happy to be able to show her who I am on stage,” he shared.
He even jokingly talked about how his mother often gives him advice at home, especially when it comes to using chopsticks. This comment came after a game where he had to move beans with chopsticks. Choi Jin Hyuk said, “If you want to be good at using chopsticks, maybe you need a mom who scolds you at home about how to use them properly,” as he demonstrated his chopstick technique.
Choi Jin Hyuk also shared heartfelt stories about how his mother has supported him throughout his career. He invited her on stage to take a photo together. With bright smiles, they posed happily for the camera, and Choi Jin Hyuk proudly showed off his mother.
Choi Jin Hyuk had recently finished filming for the Korean drama Miss Night and Day alongside Jung Eun Ji. Before coming to Jakarta, he had also held a fan concert in Manila, Philippines
