Dept captivated Indonesian audiences by performing Van Gogh twice during their concert, showcasing a deep connection with the local fans. On Saturday, August 24th, DEPT successfully held his concert, “DEPT Live in Jakarta,” at Balai Sarbini, Jakarta. The concert, promoted by SG Street Festival and Bestie Entertainment, lasted for two hours and left fans thoroughly satisfied.
During the show, DEPT performed many of his hit songs, including “Winter Blossom,” “Autumn Breeze,” “Whenever It Rains,” and the fan favorite “Van Gogh.”
Dept Performing Van Gogh Twice!
In a special treat for the audience, DEPT performed Van Gogh not once but twice during the concert. First, he delivered an a cappella version of the song alongside Singaporean singer Shazza. Later, as the concert neared its end, DEPT returned to the stage to perform “Van Gogh” again, this time with live band instrumentation, accompanied by Avokid, a South Korean R&B soloist.
This double performance of “Van Gogh,” the song that propelled DEPT to fame in Indonesia, was a highlight for his fans, known as ADAPT. The crowd erupted in cheers and applause, thrilled to hear their favorite song twice in one night.
