Titled 30th Anniversary LIVE in Jakarta, the concert kicked off at 6:30 PM with Indonesian indie band The Adams, who opened the show with “Halo Beni.” Interestingly, their music had once been heard by AKFG’s frontman, making the moment feel even more special for local fans.
Next, Alexandros took the stage as the second opening act, energizing the crowd with “Senkou,” a soundtrack from Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway. Their powerful performance set the perfect tone for what was to come.
Around 9:00 PM, Asian Kung-Fu Generation finally appeared on stage. Led by Masafumi Gotoh, alongside Kiyoshi Ijichi, Kensuke Kita, and Takahiro Yamada, the band opened their set with “Shinseiki no Love Song” and “Life is Beautiful,” instantly igniting the crowd.

Songs like “After Dark,” “Solanin,” “Blue Train,” and “Loop & Loop” brought waves of nostalgia, while newer tracks such as “Empathy” and “Demachiyanagi Parallel Universe” added fresh energy without losing their signature sound.
The emotional peak came when iconic songs like “Re:Re:”, “Rewrite”, and especially “Haruka Kanata” were performed. The latter sparked an explosive reaction from the audience, given its strong association with Naruto. Fans sang at the top of their lungs, creating a truly unforgettable moment.
Beyond the high-energy hits, the concert also offered heartfelt moments through songs like “Soredewa, Mata Ashita,” “Kouya o Aruke,” and “Korogaru Iwa, Kimi ni Asa ga Furu,” showcasing the band’s emotional depth.
