The K-Pop music concert titled Big Ground Fest 2024 K-Phoria Vol 1 will take place in Jakarta on Saturday, November 16, 2024. A lineup of Korean artists will perform, including Xiumin and Chen from EXO, EXID, and one surprise artist yet to be revealed.
Big Ground Fest 2024 K-Phoria Vol 1 will be held at Beach City International Stadium (BCIS) in Ancol, North Jakarta. The event is promoted by Big Ground Entertainment, which has recently taken over as the show management for (G)I-DLE.
Kevin Hermanto, Chairman and Founder of Big Ground Entertainment, shared that this concert aims to create an immersive experience, transporting the audience to a futuristic K-Pop atmosphere. “It will be an unforgettable show, different from previous K-Pop concerts,” Kevin stated during a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
Line-Up for Big Ground Fest 2024 K-Phoria Vol 1
Chen from EXO was the first artist announced for Big Ground Fest 2024 K-Phoria Vol 1. His real name is Kim Jong Dae, and he is a singer and songwriter who has also contributed to various original soundtracks, including “Everytime” for the drama Descendants of the Sun.
Following him, Xiumin from EXO was announced to join the lineup. Xiumin is also a singer and songwriter who debuted as a solo artist in 2022 with a mini-album titled Brand New.
EXID, the South Korean girl group established in 2012, will also perform. The group consists of Solji, Elly, Hani, Hyelin, and Jeonghwa, and is part of the third generation of K-Pop idols, contributing to the success of the Hallyu Wave globally. “EXID has never performed in Indonesia, and they have a large fanbase here. I’ve seen them perform in Korea, and their stage presence is sure to delight their fans,” Kevin explained regarding the decision to feature EXID at the festival.
Ticket Sales
Pre-sale tickets for Big Ground Fest 2024 K-Phoria Vol 1 will be available from Monday, October 14, 2024, at 9:00 AM WIB until Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 8:59 AM WIB. Regular tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 9:00 AM WIB and will be available until Saturday, November 16, 2024.
Before the concert starts at 7:00 PM WIB, ticket holders can enjoy various fan zone activities set up by the promoter starting at 11:00 AM in the concert area. The festival will also feature StarBe, an Indonesian girl group that debuted in 2019, as the opening act.
