Jakarta – Thai actor Joong Archen successfully held a fan meeting in Jakarta on Saturday, November 9, 2024, in the afternoon.
The event, titled Joong Your Smile Solo Fan Meeting in Jakarta, took place at the Luxus Grand Ballroom, MGK Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
This fan meeting marked the first time for Joong Archen, who is known for his role in the series Star and Sky: Star in My Mind (2022), to meet his fans in Indonesia.
Promoted by INTERS Production, the fan meeting was a huge success and filled with excitement.
The event began at 3:00 PM with a live performance by Joong Archen, who sang the OST from My Dear Donovan as an opening.
Joong Archen surprised the audience when he appeared on stage right after the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya, was played along with the audience.
The fan meeting lasted around one and a half hours, with high enthusiasm from the fans throughout the event.
One of the fun moments during the event was the Q&A session with Joong Archen.
During the session, the actor, born on March 10, 2001, was asked if he had ever visited any other cities in Indonesia besides Jakarta.
Joong Archen jokingly answered that he had only visited Jakarta multiple times.
“I’ve been to many places in Indonesia—Jakarta, Jakarta, Jakarta, and lastly, Jakarta,” said Joong Archen, jokingly.
As Joong had never visited any other cities in Indonesia besides Jakarta, he then asked his fans for recommendations.
The fans eagerly shouted out various city suggestions.
“I want to go to another city, but I don’t know where. Do you have any recommendations?” Joong Archen asked his fans.
“To your house?” one fan jokingly replied, which caused the audience to burst into laughter.
Then, one fan suggested Palembang.
“Any recommendations?” Joong Archen asked again.
“Palembang,” the fan shouted loudly.
“What’s there in Palembang?” Joong asked curiously, eager to know the reason behind the recommendation.
“Pempek,” the fan responded in unison.
“Is that a dessert?” Joong asked.
“No, it’s an appetizer,” replied the host.
“Wow, I want to try it, at your house,” Joong responded, playfully, which made the audience cheer.
After the Q&A session, the event continued with fun games, a TikTok dance challenge, and a special performance by Joong Archen.
To close the event, Joong Archen sang You’re My Treasure, a single performed by several GMMTV actors during the Love Out Loud Fan Fest 2024.
