On September 1, K-beauty brand UIQ successfully held its launch event, UIQ UNIVERSE in JAKARTA at the Sky Garden at Lippo Mall Puri. The event was the largest in the UIQ UNIVERSE series to date, with over 1,400 customers attending to officially welcome UIQ to the Indonesian market. The event featured a fan autograph session and beauty talk show with UIQ’s brand ambassador RIIZE who had already attracted great attention from the public even before the event started. RIIZE, the new Korean boy band from SM Entertainment, took this opportunity to get closer to their fans in Indonesia.

The event started with six VIPs presenting RIIZE with traditional Indonesian batik clothes. The VIPs included Seo Jinkyeong, Vice President of UIQ; Rya Jeon, CMO of Skincara; Henry Riady, CEO & Owner of Lippo Malls Indonesia; Rita Yovita, CCO of Lippo Malls Indonesia; Christopher Madiam, Co Founder & CEO of Social Bella; and Chrisanti Indiana, Co-founder & CMO of Social Bella. RIIZE expressed their gratitude to the fans and honored Indonesian culture by taking a photo with the batik they received. Afterwards, a fan autograph session was held with 50 selected fans, and during the beauty talk show, RIIZE shared beauty tips and their favorite UIQ products.
One of the most memorable moments of the event was RIIZE’s visit to Sociolla before the main event started. This visit was very special because RIIZE selected products that would later be given as gifts to their fans. Sociolla was not to be left behind, their flagship store at Lippo Mall Puri was decorated with UIQ branding, creating a fun and memorable atmosphere for customers. RIIZE’s selected products were then given to the event participants, giving a personal touch that made the event even more special.
The press conference that followed provided a deeper insight into the UIQ brand. Through the UIQ launch event, Sociolla’s flagship store at Lippo Mall Puri saw a 200% increase in visitors compared to the average daily visit, and sales of UIQ products jumped by 400%, marking a huge success for the event.
