Working Together to Catch Criminals, Take a Peek at the Story of Jung Hae In and Hwang Jung Min in the Film Titled I, The Executioner which will soon air in Indonesian theaters

Jung Hae In, a Korean actor known for playing the popular Korean drama D.P., is now rumored to be returning to the big screen and will hit Indonesian theaters on September 25, 2024.
The movie brings back detective Seo Do Chul and his crime investigation team who have joined forces with Park Sun Woo, this time tracking down a serial killer.

I, The Executioner has also released a new trailer that showcases the cohesiveness between Jung Hae In and Hwang Jung Min as they work together to track down the film’s devious villain.
Jung Hae In plays rookie detective Park Sun Woo, and in his first shot in uniform, he builds excitement while dealing with a knife-wielding criminal.

Even more amazingly, Veteran 2 (I, the Executioner) starring Jung Hae In broke screening records in South Korean theaters. Released on September 13, 2024, the film was watched by more than 1 million viewers in one day of screening.

Reported by Soompi, Sunday (9/15/2024), a day after reaching 1 million viewers, the film broke through 2 million viewers. According to the Korean Film Council, Veteran 2 only took 3 days of screening to reach a total of 2,095,936 viewers.
Veteran 2’s record shifts the position of Exhuma and The Roundup: Punishment, as the fastest films to reach 2 million viewers. Previously, both movies needed 4 days to reach the mark.

Jung Hae In joined the sequel to the movie Veteran, after actor Yo Ah In was involved in a drug case. In Veteran, Yo Ah In plays the antagonist Jo Tae Oh, an arrogant chaebol heir.

Quoting mymusictaste (10/9/2024), regarding the new character who replaced Yo Ah In’s position, Jung Hae In admitted that he did not feel worried. However, he actually felt the pressure of being part of a movie that the audience loved so much.

“The crime structure in this movie has a different dynamic than the previous one, so there is no character-related pressure,” he said at the movie’s press conference.
“When I read the script, I realized I didn’t need to surpass the previous villains or show anything different,” he added.

Veteran 2 (I, the Executioner) is a sequel to the 2015 film Veteran. It tells the story of the hunt for a serial killer who shook the world. Involving Seo Do Cheol (Hwang Jung Min) a veteran detective. This time, he will work with a young detective, Park Sun Woo played by Jung Hae In.

Last night, the todaystageid team had the opportunity to see a special screening invited by CBI Pictures at CGV Grand Indonesia, almost all audiences were amazed and applauded.
