Yoo Yeon Seok held his first-ever fan meeting in Indonesia titled The Secret Code: Y at the JIEXPO Convention Centre and Theatre, Kemayoran, North Jakarta, on Saturday (April 5th). The event, organized by FriedRice Entertainment, was a great success, and here is a summary of the unforgettable moments from the fan meeting, compiled by the todaystageid team.
Opened with OST When the Phone Rings
The 40-year-old actor kicked off his performance in Jakarta by singing See The Light by Lim Hyun Sik, the soundtrack from the drama When the Phone Rings.
“Finally, I’ve arrived in Jakarta. I’m very nervous and excited because Jakarta is the last city in my fan meeting tour,” said Yoo Yeon Seok, greeting his fans.
The fan meeting in Jakarta included several conversation sessions. One of them discussed the drama When the Phone Rings and the possibility of a second season.
Yoo Yeon Seok mentioned that up until now, there have been no discussions about a second season of the romantic drama. However, he didn’t rule out the possibility that the drama, which also stars Chae Soo Bin, could continue in the future.
“Honestly, there are no plans (for a second season) yet, but maybe. It’s possible. But for now, there are no plans,” he explained.
Aside from discussing the drama, there were also games between Yoo Yeon Seok and the fans, as well as a performance where he sang Numb by Lim Yeon.
Behind-the-Scenes Drama and the Most Unforgettable Scene
This fan meeting wasn’t just about face-to-face interactions; it also revealed behind-the-scenes moments that fans may not have known. Yoo Yeon Seok shared his worries during the shoot, particularly concerning his pet dog, Rita.
“I was worried at the time… is Rita okay?” he said sincerely, melting the hearts of fans with his sweet concern.
Meanwhile, Indra Herlambang, who hosted the fan meeting, brought up the challenges faced during the shooting in Argan. “I heard the most challenging part was shooting in Argan, right?” asked Indra. With a serious expression and a small laugh, Yoo Yeon Seok agreed.
“We thought it was very serious because we had to adapt to such a different environment,” said Yeon Seok. “Was it good?” Indra teased, and the fans immediately responded with a unified shout, “IT WAS GOOD!”
Polaroid Moment Made Fans Scream
Another touching moment came when Yeon Seok showed a polaroid photo he took with his co-star, who he fondly referred to as “Heejoo.” Yeon Seok shared that bringing a polaroid camera to the set had become a habit.
“I usually like to take photos with the staff and Heejoo,” he said. But when asked if fans could take home the photo, Yeon Seok smiled and said, “Maybe.”
The Argan Scene: An Unforgettable Moment
When asked about the most unforgettable moment of his career, Yeon Seok answered without hesitation: “The Argan scene.” Fans immediately cheered, fully understanding the effort behind that scene.
“Although it was difficult, I still remember it very well because the journey was long,” he reminisced.

This fan meeting also served as the Yeon Seok Awards 2025, where fans asked various questions. One of them was: Which character would you introduce to your younger sister if the fans were your siblings? His answer: Baek Saeon.
“Because this character brought me to where I am today,” he said.
When asked about the hardest nickname to let go of, his answer made the venue erupt: “Sexy forehead.” This answer turned out to be the same choice as the majority of fans!
Then, what words would he most like to hear from fans? “You’ve worked hard,” was the most common answer from fans. However, Yeon Seok had his own preference: “I love you.” Immediately, fans shouted, “I LOVE YOU!” and Yeon Seok responded twice, “I love you too.” The fans screamed even louder.
Practice Every Night, New Guitar, and Bonus Song
Yeon Seok also introduced an important figure behind his performance: his music director, Lee Joon. It was revealed that the music played at each city was different. And despite the fan meetings being held every week, they continued practicing intensely.
“I don’t let hyung (Lee Joon) rest. Every night after dinner, I make him practice,” Yeon Seok said with a laugh.
For this tour, he even bought his own guitar. He performed Espresso with live accompaniment from Lee Joon. Although he admitted to feeling more nervous than usual because this was the final stop on the fan meeting tour, Yeon Seok still gave his best performance.
Even after making a small mistake, he rewarded the audience with one extra live song. “I guess this is the charm of singing live,” he said with a smile.
After Game & Signed Posters
After the singing session, Yeon Seok continued with a fun game session that he successfully conquered—thanks to Indra’s help. Ping pong balls were thrown into the audience as symbolic gifts. At the end of the event, the actor gave away 10 signed posters exclusively to the lucky fans.
With a smile that never faded and a heart full of gratitude, Yoo Yeon Seok closed the event with repeated words of thanks. The fan meeting ended with a hi-bye session for all categories and group photos for the lucky winners chosen randomly.
