K-Expo Indonesia 2024, the largest Korean cultural exhibition in Indonesia, will be held in Jakarta from November 14-17, 2024. The event is organized by various South Korean ministries with the aim of introducing Korean culture to the Indonesian public and supporting the development of business relations between the two countries. The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Korea has partnered with KOCCA to organize this South Korea-Indonesia collaboration event. Seven institutions are also participating to make this event even more vibrant, including the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Korea Design Promotion Institute (KIDP), Korea Small and Medium Business Distribution Agency (KOSME), and Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
K-Expo Indonesia 2024 is divided into three main event segments: business meetings, the Hallyu cultural exhibition, and the Hallyu concert.
1. Business Meetings
- Date: November 14-15, 2024
- Time: 09:00-18:00 WIB
- Location: Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel, 3rd Floor Grand Ballroom
- Description: This event will serve as a platform for business people from Indonesia and South Korea to expand their networks and explore collaboration opportunities, particularly in the fields of K-content and consumer products.
2. Hallyu Cultural Exhibition
- Date: November 16-17, 2024
- Time: 10:00-17:00 WIB
- Location: Jakarta Convention Center Exhibition Hall A
- Description: This exhibition will showcase a variety of products related to Korean culture, such as K-pop, K-beauty, K-fashion, and more. Visitors can explore the global trends of Korean culture.
3. Hallyu Concert
- Date: November 16, 2024
- Time: 18:00-20:00 WIB
- Location: Jakarta Convention Center Exhibition Hall B
- Description: The concert will feature performances from popular K-pop artists such as Ailee, SF9, NOMAD, and Beatpella House. Fans can enjoy the concert for free by registering in advance on the official K-Expo Indonesia website.
